Hi new poster here,

Im trying to connect a Turck I/O module to my KepserverEX 6 like the subject says, but I dont know whether that is possible.

I tried using the Allen-Bradley ControlLogix Ethernet as my driver , and selected the ControlLogix 5500 model for my device, but i cant seem to create tags for it.

Please advise, thanks.

Hello,

This indicates that the time-limited usage period for the feature "Modbus driver" has expired.

To resolve this:

  • Please restart the Kepware Runtime Service to reset the countdown timer.
  • For more information about Kepware demo status, refer to Knowledge Base Article CS276365
  • Note: The Modbus TCP/IP driver does not support automatic tag generation, so you will need to manually add the tags in the Kepware configuration.

    Thanks

Hello,

PTC Kepware products do not currently include a general EtherNet/IP driver. You can read more about this in the article [CS321178 - Is EtherNet/IP supported in PTC Kepware Products?].

I suggest checking whether the specific Turck I/O module supports any other protocol, such as Modbus. If it does, you can use our driver to connect to the module accordingly. Thanks

My turck I/O module does support Modbus. However, using the modbus TCP/IP Ethernet settings, it tells me an error 'Modbus.Turck': Driver not started.

-Selected my ethernet adapter as my network adapter.

-Didnt change anything else in channel settings
- For ID , i put my device address and .1 at the back

-Didnt change anything else for devices too

When i go to do auto tag generation, it shows that error.

please advise. Is this my I/o module side issue?
