To start, could you clarify how you verified that the values were updating before accessing Quick Client? Additionally, after opening Quick Client, did you observe any errors or warnings in the Kepware Event Log that might indicate a potential issue?

I would also suggest verifying DCOM settings as mentioned in the given DCOM manual:

Hello

I have attached a document with my observations. When I open the saved file in OPC quick client it also does not connect and pull values through until I go and toggle the data type.

I have compared the values I see with the real time values on the SCADA system I want to connect to

By toggling the data type the values I can see the values in the quick client update according to the SCADA.

What I also observed is that although the update speed is set to 250 ms it does not update automatically

When I use OPC Quick client by right click on the connection in Kepware the above does not happen. The values stay bad even if you toggle the data type

My system integrators did work through your document - I am in the process to double check the steps

Thank you for the update, however, I am curious to understand, does data type change give just one-time good values in Quick Client or it gives continuous good data values in Quick Client.

In either of the cases we would encourage you loging a support case , if the issue still exists

Follow the underlined steps mentioned for creating a support case : https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS382681

-Thank You
