Curve from points.

Curve from points.

I am trying to construct a curve based upon about 600 data points (2D) from a CMM. They are an a CSV file now. Any techniques of which anyone is aware? These are from the sphere center, so I'll just have to construct an offset curve to achieve the correct spline. I don't really ever work with imported data, so this is all Greek to me!

Use Insert, Model Datum, Point, Offset Coordinate System,

Select your coordinate system, spherical, then import.

This will read in all of the points from a csv file.

Then Insert, Model Datum, Curve.

Thru Points and Done

Then Spline, Whole Array and select your point.

That should do it. Feel free to call if you have any questions.

I should have mentioned that I believe that the csv file has to have a
.txt extension.
