My client designs capital equipment for the semiconductor industry. Experience with product development, design, test and manufacturing using sheet metal, aluminum, cold rolled steel. Design mechanism, fixtures and mechanical components. Interface with customers to take requirements. System design from concept through detailing and release for production. CAD models using ProEngineer and SolidWorks. Generate assembly drawings and Bills of Material from assembly models. Prepare layouts/models based on design specifications and create detailed drawings of parts based on the layout/model. Calculate and verify that the design meets the specifications. Design to cost goals and design for manufacturability and testability. Interact with manufacturing to improve processes. The position starts at $80K, however, my client is willing to go as high as 95K and even high if experience can justify. This position also has a relocation incentive as well being that my client is located in Chandler, AZ.
