Conversion Issue from Mathcad 15 to Mathcad Prime 9.0

We are trying to convert Mathcad 15 files to Mathcad Prime 9.0. When we complete the conversion we have lost some functionality with the files, such as with control objects (radio button, check boxes, drop down menu). This portion of the files are removed during the conversion. Is there a way to convert these functions or can we purchase Mathcad 15?

Those are known 'defects' in MathCAD Prime!

You cannot purchase any MathCAD version or MathCAD Prime prior to 7 due to licensing agreemente between PTC and third-party code used in those versions.

Article - CS344202 - End of distribution, end of purchase, no download of installation media for Mathcad 15 and Mathcad Prime 1.0 to 6.0 (ptc.com)

While you cannot purchase Mathcad 15 at this time because we end-of-saled it at the end of 2021, for more information, read this:

As for conversion, there are two options.

Number one, those control objects now function as combo boxes, as shown in this new video. You can accept Mathcad Prime's combo box functionality for these controls.

Number two, control objects are an area of focus for the upcoming Mathcad Prime 10; once that releases and you upgrade to it, it is likely that the control fidelity will be much more similar to how you saw it in Mathcad 15.

I manage the Creo and PTC Mathcad YouTube channels for PTC, as well as all PTC Mathcad marketing in general.
