I'm running v11 on a win7, 32-bit machine, which has been slowing down over time as Windows seems to accumulate "stuff" (could say the same about me). I decided to try a solid-state drive (SSD) as a replacement for my hard disk, hoping this would speed things up. I just tried the new SSD, and while my PC is certainly faster, and all other apps seem to work, mathcad is broken. When I try to start it, it tells me that the license file is damaged.
When I created the SSD clone, I did a "forensic" copy, which claims to write all sectors, whether used or not. If I recall correctly, MCD11 uses the MAC address as a device key, so I expected this to work. Alas, it didn't. As I don't think I can get any help for this from PTC, any suggestions?
