hi, so, i installed mathcad and when i try to open the app from the shortcut it wont open, like the app isnt even trying to open (load screen doesnt appear). the license wizard is working tho, butttt right at the end of licensing the next button wont activate. I activated the license via my student account on ptc. Please help.
also, my license is working just well on another laptop, and the mathcad works just fine, but not on my laptop. any ideas why?
and, maybe its important, but the mathcad prime installation assistant is black instead of white like on the laptop mathcad is working.

If your license is working on one laptop the license is locked to the MAC address of that laptop.
The license only works on one machine at a time.
License needs to be transferred from the laptop it works on to the second one.
To transfer a PTC license for Mathcad Prime or other software, log in to your account on the PTC support website and go to the "manage license" section. From there, you can perform an advanced search, find the license you want to move using the old machine's Host ID, and use the "move license" option to specify the new machine's details. The new license file will be emailed to you for download and installation.
Step-by-step license transfer
Log in to your PTC account: Go to support.ptc.com and log in with your credentials.
Access license management: Navigate to the "manage license" or similar section.
Search for the license: Use the "advanced search" option and enter the Host ID (or MAC address) of the computer where the license is currently installed.
Select the license: Select the checkbox next to the license you wish to move.
Initiate the move: Click the "move license" button.
Enter new license details: Specify the number of licenses to move and enter the Host ID and/or name of the new machine.
Download the new license: PTC will email a new license file. Save and extract this file to complete the process on the new computer.
According to the screenshot you're 'Done'. There is no 'Next' (that's probably why it's grayed out). The logical option is 'Exit'.
