Hi Valery,

Perhaps you could see if anyone at NIST's got any formal thoughts on how to best handle angle & solid angle, plus other non-dimensional quantities that have named units ... ?

Stuart

Hi. I can't read anything, probably some one can point-me a traduction service. Google lang tool copy and paste seems to no work, and have not account here to process the page.

But talking about NIST, perhaps someone find this file interesting:

http://www.boulder.nist.gov/div838/theory/refprop/MATHCAD.ZIP

The user dll could be tested with

http://www.boulder.nist.gov/div838/theory/refprop/MINIREF/MINIREF.HTM

Regards. Alvaro.

Very roughly, Valery's going to chat to PTC on 12 Oct 09 and is at NIST in Boulder, Colorado today.

Stuart

For a quick translation, I use www.freetranslations.com. It's pretty good for making sense out of other language communications, although not so good for sending messages back, since it's a word for word translation.

Mona

Hi. Thanks Stuart for the human translation; and thanks Mona for the bot link. But what I see is that there are a problem with the setup of the characters sets: this is what freetranslation.com say about the top thread:

"Anai i? eaao!
Oi? o niiaueou? oi y 12 ieoya? y ano? a? a? nu caanu a NOA n e? auie ec PTC. A naaiaiy o iaiy aa? iue aieeaa a NIST a Eiei? aai!
Aoaai aiai? eou i? acaeoee Mathcad.
A.I? eia"

Same problem with google services. So: I need to set to cyrilic the font browser before copy and paste into the translator?

I think that it could be useful a first post giving the wellcome to russian language, but with instructions, not because is other not english, but because the characters set could be problematic in occidental setups, and also, a very short how-to use the proposed translator.

And remember that Windows Internet Explorer (the new official name for the Microsoft's web browser) isn't the only one, personally, I use a Opera, but not right now.

Regards, and congratullations.

Alvaro.

Seems to work OK, with the decoded text in IE6.

TTFN,
Eden

There's a problem with the encoding. There are multiple "standards" for Cyrillic. I suggest standardizing on Unicode, and setting the collaboratory standard to Unicode. That should cover all languages with a single standard.
