Chapter 8: Earth Retaining Structures, Part 2

Description:
This application determines required footing width, footing thickness, wall thickness and reinforcement areas for retaining walls with sloping backfill. Lateral earth pressures and the slope of the backfill may be specified by the user. The application uses the estimated values for wall and footing thicknesses (unless the application determines that larger footing or wall thicknesses are required for shear or flexure). If it is necessary to revise the estimated values for wall or footing thicknesses, or bar sizes.
