Calculation with functions which are depending on a certain variable

how is it correct to write the fomulas with that variable?

What are the units of the functions of D?

You may just have a unit incompatability issue.

D is a diameter and has mm

maybe i found my problem i need the other variables too.

f(A,B,C,D) ---> all variables need to define in the function. I only used D as variable but i have a few other parameters too which defines the function

If the Function S(D) return units of stress (the same as Sa) then that's not your problem.  If they do not, then Mathcad cannot evaluate that fraction.

This is a clue:

You multiplied Sa by stress to get stress.  If Sa is not stress, will g(D,Sa) calculate?

Hmm so maybe i only need to change the calculation g(D,Sa) and the Sa Calculation

so Sa as Stress is before g(D,Sa)
