Commenting out a bit of mathcad

Tom recently commented on a mathcad file that I uploaded. There were a number of places where he placed a black square near the mathcad, which seemed to have the effect of commenting out the bit of mathcad. How is this done? e.g. what key strokes and where make this happen?

Right click and "disable evaluation"

Collab edit the post, so some files needs to add an "(1)" to directly load from the server.
