Here in Holland we define pressure often as either kN/m2 or N/mm2. Now I'd like to customize MathCAD in such a way, that it uses kN/m2 as standard pressure unit. I've found out that I need to edit two files for this: - units\unit-system-SI.xml - mpl\mcdunitsystemsi.mpl I'm as far as the following additions: unit-system-SI.xml:

The XML is accepted by MathCAD, because I can insert the unit via Insert > Unit, and I get a nice stand-alone kN/m2. I cannot however assign this unit to a Custom unit system via Tools > Worksheet options; selecting the kilonewton per square meter results in MathCAD crashing. Anyone any idea as to if and how this can be achieved? Thanks for your input...[/code]
