Define equals bug? (Mathcad 14)

Try the following:

Try This.bmp

Maybe I am understanding incorrectly, but nothing after the = sign should affect the definition of "This", but it does. If I format the result by putting mW for the units on the far right of the definition it changes the value of "This" from mW to W (i.e. it multiplies the values of the definition by 1000).

In fact if I put W*A on the far right (on the defition line) it does not change the value of "This". However if I put W*mA on the far right it again multiplies the definition of "This" by 1000.

I searched in the old Collab and this section, but did not find anything.

Am I missing something here?

I am using Mathcad 14.0.0.163.

Here is an upload of a newly created worksheet.

I have not migrated to 15 yet, because last I knew it was not compatible with MS Office 2010.

Download and install the latest service release for version 14. The problem will go away.

I am using Mathcad 14.0.0.163.

You need to upgrade to the latest version of M14, I think it's M20.

I'm not sure about that. Does M14 work with Office 2010?

Mike

Thanks guys,

I think I already have the download, just haven't gotten around to updating.

As far as Mathcad 14 and Office 2010. I haven't had any issues so far.

Take this off the cuff, but I wouldn't imagine Mathcad 15 not being compatible with Office 2007, if Mathcad has no issues.
