The Antoine equation describes the relationship between the vapour pressure P and temperature T of a liquid.
This worksheet calculates the emprical coefficients A, B and C for a given set of data. It produces an initial set of values for these quantities using a matrix inverse technique. It then attempt to refine the values; this may not necessarily give a better fit. The worksheet then picks the values of A, B and C which gives the lowest sum of the squares of the errors.
