I am not able enter greek letter into a table(Insert > Table). Is this the known limitation of Mathcad.

Only way I can think of is type outside and copy-paste inside the table.

Tables work like excel. In order to get symbols, we need to change the the font to symbols. I find it easier to program short cuts (i.e. ctrl+shift+"L" is Lamda for me)

If we change the font to symbol, it will be applied to entire table not to a particular cell.

So other strings or data will become unreadable.

Is there any other way we can do this?

The best option I can think of is to type the entire table in Excel, then copy and paste.

If the table is entered in Excel to start, is there any reason to convert it to an input table, rather than an inserted Excel component?

Size and speed? And the fact that it will work for those that don't have Excel.
