Amazing Valery!

is it possible to run the animation in Prime like running animations via range variable in MC15?

We use the variable FRAME in Mathcad 15 not range variable!

But is the model correct?

Must forces F1, F2 and F3 be always negative?

See please re attach!

I'd say Yes!

I changed some initial Values and then forces became also positiv and negative.

How are you doing that the mass-points make lines in the diagram?
Is it a Vektor?
couldn't figure out it.
Volker

Sorry, by my ICs we have one positive force at t=1.8 s

I think the model is correct. Or?

Valery,

my physical understanding would say yes.

And the sum of all energies seems to be constant (Apart from the peaks in the diagram...)

But the peaks could be an inaccuracy in the calculation process of the simulation.

The amount of the maximum deviation in the diagram is only about 0.02 joules

acting Forces at:

and

are this:

at the time of 1.8s i got this result:

nearly constant energy of 0 Joules and a positive force F3.

What do you want more-I think it's ok with all.

regards Volker

ps.: please help me with a simple example to plot traces in a diagram like a mass point does make in your sheet.

Volker

I think it is an unstable numerical solution an t >1.8 s

That looks cool!

especially th moving tracks.

I am preparing an article and would like to see you and Fred as coauthors! OK?

>I am preparing an article and would like to see you and Fred as coauthors! OK?<

Thank you Valery!

That's an honor for me an i appreciate it.

Volker

ok! I I will send the draft of the article tomorrow!

At first in Russian and than or parallel in English!

Sorry, in German too?

If it doesn't make too much effort, ok in german but it's not a must.

Thank you again Valery!

Я также хотел бы помочь

See please the first version of the article in attach

I am waiting for your remarks, adds, etc

Бог в помощь!

Ich bin froh zu helfen. Give please more information!

The string must break in this moment

no it doesn't.

These are only about -18.41 Newtons 😉

Valery,

What are the Forces F1, F2, F3 exactly?

Are these the Forces which have the same direction like the strings (=colinear)?

I try to verify the acting forces again  to be sure if all be allright.

Volker

>Are these the Forces which have the same direction like the strings (=colinear)?

Yes!

F<0 - Stretching of the string

F>0 - Compression - not possible with a string (see at t= 1.8 s). Check please!

>F>0 - Compression - not possible with a string (see at t= 1.8 s). Check please!<

With an ammount of 0.008 Newton- it's a inaccuracy of calculation in my opinion.

In that moment, we would have a free falling body.

We should do an experiment, and see what the string does make at the force>0. (needing a high speed camera)

If the strings are stiff (we didn't take into account at the beginning of our simulation) what would then happen?

I want to try to setup a calculation with Lagrangesche Formulas, but it's a hard way to do.
Volker

We can describe all this in the article!

> it's a inaccuracy of calculation in my opinion.

I think  this picture can tell us some thing about accuracy:

Fig-18-energy-1.png

>I want to try to setup a calculation with Lagrange's Formulas, but it's a hard way to do.

From one my book:

A google translation - correct please!

Here we need to recall inertial and non-inertial frames of reference, not only Newtonian, but also Lagrange and Hamiltonian mechanics, as well as other subtleties of the physics section called dynamics. However, our question about which curve in Fig. 9.37 is more correct, not by itself? Everything is correct. At the present time, almost all physical journals do not take into consideration not only articles describing perpetual motion machines, but also articles on celestial mechanics with reliance on Newtonian mechanics. But our book is not about mechanics, but about how to solve old, not very difficult tasks with the help of modern computer tools.

Hello Valery,

acting forces seems to be ok for me.

preparing the Lagrangesche for three Variables (phi 1, phi 2 and phi 3 as generalized koordinates for the systen)

...stay tuned...

What the pendulum with 3 masses is concerned: Lagrangesche Formulas - I cannot handle the huge equations with Mathcad Prime solve block.

The better way is to use mechanical Formulas (Newton's Laws) like Valery did.

I made the Lagrangesche for a pendulum with 2 masses and it works perfect.

And now i plottet my first trajektory with Prime in the attached example. Wohuuuuu!!!!!

Valery: pleas tell me the internet programm that i can visualize a moving pendulum trajektory.
