I have sucessfully installed Mathcad Prime 2.0 but cannot install Mathcad 15 (I have a student edition that has both versions on the same CD).
The Prime 2.0 does not install the folder/file = license/mathcad_license to access. Can anyone advise? Or has anyone run into the same problems?
Thanks Tammy
So the problem is the license file?
When you install Prime2 you get a license file during installation.
To see where this file is placed you click the "M" at the upper left, chose "Mathcad Options" and select "License" tab. In the field "File" you should see the filename and the complete path of it. Copy this information to the clipboard.
You may point Mathcad 15 to this file when it comes to licensing or after the installation of MC15 you may open a command window (Start->run->cmd) and start mathcad 15 with the parameter /license by typing "C:\Program Files\Mathcad\Mathcad 15\mathcad.exe" /license including all quotes and spaces (replace the program dir for the one used on your machine, though). Now point the license wizard to the Prime license file (the path should be in the clipboard).
