How can i asing a variable to this...

Hi,

I just solve this, but how can i asing a varible " := " to this, so that i can use the value of "N"

And also, how can i reduce the number of decimals when i use the "solve", because i tryed using the "Format->Result->Number Format" and reducing the number of decimals doesn't work.

Thanks!

Just put the whole expression on the right side of
the normal define operator, ie

N:=σ=...

The above will convert your number to a standard
numeric value that you can then format as normal.

Stuart

Hi,

Thank you for the help.

Now, is there any way not to see the result after the arrow?

I don't think so.

As you have many variables that could be solved for, because solve is implicit of the member equating 0. The solver needs to know for which variable you want to solve for, i.e: in your case 'N'. All what that means is that assigning the result to a variable is not implicit of which variable you want to solve for. Therefore for your question, answer is NO. If you would dismember the solver, you would need no more solver, just a bit of first year calculus algebra.
Your image is not readable because *.jpg. This destructive compressor is for photos, not for information with sharp contrast like letters or else symbols, graphics ...etc. For harp details, use *.gif or eventually *png.
You have passed the stuff through Facebook, I'm glad you have done so, it's the first time in this collab, and for me last time I will click on the icon. I'm not going to qualify Facebook, you can imagine how I would qualify in few words. I just have a question for you: how do you you feel you have invaded my PC with that (read my qualification of Facebook !!!).

A typical garbage image.
