Hi- that is fantastic in MathCADPrime. Good to know since I have a personal copy at home. However, the version we use at work is MathCAD 15.0! I did not see the same type of option under the >Insert menu, nor when I opened the "Matrix" tools.
Well son of a gun! I found how to use the insert matrix toolbar. I hadn't thought to enter a 0 for the column. I was leaving it blank. Thanks for leading me to the solution. Please close the support call.
Found a way to delete matrix rows/columns in MathCAD 15.0. You need to give the number of rows or columns to delete in the Insert menu. Then click delete button while selecting that row/column. For example below will delete the row of the selected cell:
