Probably I will like this as well, but remember this is not an Office 2007 thing. It is from the definition of windows and was used already in Smartsketch.

BTW looks as if Webboard has been updated...

Not sure that I understand the comment. The only other product that I have that looks like this is the new Office 2007. And I have the same comment for that one, too. My main interest is not in the GUI as a goal in itself, but as a tool to manage the document. To this end, I like to see as much of my document as possible. However, the new zoom controls may make this point moot, or at least more acceptable.

Well, I like it less than when I first saw it, and I like the fact that I can double-click a tab to expand/contract the ribbon, but I miss having all those icons just a click away. This might be a good trade-off because the ribbon allows more features to be available than M14, at the expense of double-clicking to free up vertical space on the screen for the document.
