Hello,
Recently i had to bring back the initial settings on my computer wich delated all the installed software. Now when i want to install Mathcad Prime there occurs such an error
"An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC80.CRT,type="win32",version="8.0.50727.6195",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processorArchitecture="amd64"'. Please refer to Help and Support for more information. "
What's the issue and how can i fix this problem?
My operating system is windows 10 64bit.
Assuming that you had a working Prime installation before you went back to initial: Are you using the same installation source for Prime?
Did you (re-)install the correct type of .NET framework. You should be using the 64-bit types of .NET as well as Prime.
Success!

Go to the Windows services, and check if Windows Module Installer is turned on. If it isn't, turn it on an see if that fixes it.
Try the following steps:
1. Install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Packages: http://www.microsoft.com/en-pk/download/details.aspx?id=18471and http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=5638
2. Run Windows Update and apply security updates. Make sure you have packages versions 8.0.61000 and 8.0.61001 after update.
