I am trying to evaluate the following integral but
Mathcad seems unable to give me an answer. Can

Post the full failing worksheet.
Are you trying for a numeric or symbolic answer? A quick glance at the integrand (not really correct, you have no differential term) suggests that there will not be any closed form solution. Most integrals don't.

Yes, you can use numeric integration even when (the usual case) there is no closed form solution. Symbolic solutions to integrals are few and far between.

You are suggesting that 's' is the variable of integration. Then plot first the integrand and look if it has a simplified or an otherwise form. If the Mathematica Integrator [from the web] does not find an integral function, conclude that it does not have...check. Still, you have to plot the integrand for any eventual numerical solution and any eventual region(s) of non convergence.

Your *.PDF, that's not what you wrote in Mathcad.
Mathcad needs to know about the upper limit, i.e: if it is a function, a function of what... and it needs to know wrt which letter (variable) it will have to integrate. Mathcad reads equations, not text. The other comment is about the variable of integration, by not respecting the Cartesian 'x' I'm confused. The most important aspect is to source your integral with a minimum of description about the physics of it.
