Lettering question

I am a newbie user of mathcad. Started to use it for few assignments. Found a problem that when I need to use the same letter few times in one document, how can I find out the value of that particular letter is right? Is there away I can replace the expression with value so that I can check? Thanks.

By letter, do you mean variable? Once you assign a value to a variable, Mathcad maintains that assignment until you change it (MC works top-down, left-right). As an example, you assign variable a := 2. if you want to validate you variable just type anywhere below or to the right of that assignment, a= and your result will be 2.
