Mathcad 15 cannot solve this problem.

Of course Mathcad 15 can solve 😉
But what you found out about units and symbolics is really interesting. We were alway told that the symbolic engine treats units exactly like normal variables. Obviously thats not true. At least when it comes to symbolic solve, Mathcad will choose automatically the "genuine true" variable to solve for if given an automatic choice amongst a singe true variable and a bunch of units. Wouldn't have thought that - anybody having an explanation for that?
