I copied a graphic out of an M14 document and pasted it into an MP document. I then tried to move it to exactly where I wanted it. Could not do so. When I place it, it jumps to a place of its own choosing.
The odd behavior is this: I thought to fine tune the location of the graphic by using Ctrl-arrows (up, down, left, right). With the graphic selected and highlighted, pressing Ctrl-arrow causes a different /math/ region to be activated and the cursor moves within that region. The rules don't seem consistent. Ctrl-left, for example, selected different graphic regions to the left and finally stopped on a math region. Once in the math region, the cursor jumped from point to point within the math region in a reasonable manner, and would not leave the math region.
