The attached shows a strange behaviour for match..there are two matrices (epsilon_c and sigma_c) with the same size and the same condition imposed in the function called MAX. The maximum values are correct in each case. The problem is that the indexes for the position (row) where those values appear are correct only for sigma_c and not for epsilon_c (should all be listed as 49 - last position in matrice). Further checking on my behalf lead to nothing.
Can anyone provide help?
Kind regards, D.

There seems to be something wrong with matches ability when dealing with small numbers.

"Like" as in "similar to" or as for "personal taste"? Your sheet is better than mine, still - all values for first row in epsilon_c must be 49 (last value, maximum). Isn't there a way to fix it? (i.e., MAX for epsilon_c lists a matrice - simply delete subscript zero for v_j and see the result - while for sigma_c it calculates correctly everything - value and position in the matrice)
Modified from 10 to 100 - seems to work

Yes.
By the way I made a mistake in my first post - there was no problem with the match function it was failing to return the expected results due to the worksheet settings.
Change the Convergence and Constraint settings:-
And increase the number of decimal places.
