Looking to provide a sequence number above both the ratio and check matrices, see attached image, to correspond with the check list above. 

I work with Mathcad Prime 10.

Thanks, sorry to ask a daft question, but why does layout and ratio numbers change? Perhaps I am not seeing it, but can your code be adapted for my situation?

What do you mean by "layout and ratio numbers"?

In what respects do they change? And change from what?

If you're referring to your original values, I made up some ratio data and a check function just to have some matrices to play with.

Worked it out, the random function in your script was throwing the ratio numbers off.
