More exact simplifying

Hi

I have trouble simplifying some functions in Mathcad 14.

The problem is that Mathcad does not simplify the functions exact.

I have two examples attached so you can see the "problem".

Is there any possibility to get a more exact simplifying?

No need to post twice.

At the time being we are moderated here and it can take even 5 hours and more until your post will be set live. Sometimes it takes just a few minutes.

Mathcads symbolics is by no means perfect and does not live up to that of Mathematica or Maple, but your examples can be done easily.

You have to understand that the symbolics processor in Mathcad (mupad) defaults to the domain complex.

Sometimes the symbolics need a little help in explicitely stating the assumptions most of us (and obviously TINspire) make implicitely. In your case that is that t is a real number.
