New Licence for New Computer?

Dear All,

I have changed my computer, then installed MP2, but now I have the express one which is not as good as the full version of MP2.

Now, how can I transfer my licence into the new computer, PTC licence is really complicated to be reinstalled, and PTC are not making it easy to anybody.

You should contact customer support. On providing them your primary MAC address they will send you a license file after checking your license state.

And yes, you are absolutely right about PTC making it really difficult for their customers.

Hi,

You need to transfer a license file by using "Reconfigure Software Licenses" option on PTC site, here: http://www.ptc.com/appserver/lm/rsl/reconfig.jsp. Also, when creating a request for a new license, you must specify the new MAC-address (from a new computer). You can use "MAC Reader" to determine MAC address of network card: http://communities.ptc.com/servlet/JiveServlet/download/38-27743/MAC_Reader-en.exe
