PTC Mathcad Prime 3.0 - Converter

Hi,

I just bought PTC Mathcad prime 3.0 (student version), and I have been trying to convert some files that I created with older versions of Mathcad (15.0, 11.0, etc) into the format of this new version. I read the document called: "Mathcad_Prime_Migration_Guide", and it says that I should install Matdcad 15 (M010) or a newest version of it to work with the converter of Mathcad prime 3.0.

I downloaded and installed Mathcad 15.0 (M020) from my account at https://www.ptc.com/, but each time I tried to use the converter, the following log message was displayed by the converter: "Could not start Mathcad conversion process"

Could anyone of you please send me a clue of what I should do to fix any error(s)?

Thank you in advanced,

EH

Dear Valery,

Thank you for your answer. I just solved the error by entering the right license information.

If you want to learn more about: "PTC Mathcad Prime 3.0 Student Edition", you can visit the following link:

http://store.ptc.com/store/ptc/en_US/pd/productID.232679900/pgm.81293500/ThemeID.21925700/Currency.USD

That is the version of Matcad that I am currently learning to use, and it has amazing features.

Thanks a lot,

Eli

Hi Vladimir,

I solved the problem.

Thank you for your help.

Eli

And how is it solved?

I solved this issue by installing Mathcad 15 and entering its license information. I located and selected the license file from the folder where I saved it when I donwloaded Mathcad 15. After Mathcad 15 was installed, I saved the files I made in Mathcad 11 (and older versions) as Mathcad 15 files. After that, I was able to convert the old files by following the instructions the converter gave me. It was very straight forward. I hope it helps you
