Pipeline launch load

I am struggling to write a program which will calculate the require pull force for given increments through out the pipeline installation.

Right, string 1 is 525m in length and will be pulled 55m from chainage zero before it enters the pre-drilled hole.

Once the string has passed chainage zero it will be submerged in Bentonite, denoted by w.sub_e_bent, before the pipe is pulled past chainage zero I is situated on conveyors, therefore the in air pipeweight is multiplied by a friction factor and the length left on conveyors.

If anyone can understand my problem and help iy would be much appreciated.

Cheers for the help that works perfectly.

When looking at problems like that is it mandatory to have the arrays the same size?

You bet, when adding 10 oranges and 5 onions it's not going to make an apple pie ... at least not of my taste, neither Mathcad.
