Problems with showing 3D-plots
Hi there I know there has been post about this, but here we go again: I'm in a math class, where some (mine inclusive) mathcad installations wont show 3D-plots, as described in http://www.ptc.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7008 when inserting a 3D-scatter plot, a blank Square appears. We have tried to isolate the problem and this is our results: Lenovo R61i w/ win7 x64 ultimate - M020 (14.0.2.5) Error Lenovo T400s w/ win7 x64 pro - M020 (14.0.2.5): Error Lenovo w500 w/ win7 x32 ultimate: Error (older version) HP w/ win7 x32 home: NO ERROR (older version, same as below Lenovo T60 w/ win xp pro sp3 - 14.0.1.286 M011: No error Mac running xp via vmware: no error IBM t43 win7 x32 - 14.0.0.163 - error T61p vista mathcad v 13 - no error -------------- So as you can see it seems like the problem is Lenovo Laptops with windows 7 and MC14, which makes no sense? Do you have any ideas on what the issue could be please let us know! (I will try to update this post with more information on the machines)

I am having the same problem with 3D graphs, running two different machines but both are running Windows 7 64 bit OS. One computer is an HP laptop, and the other is a build, so it's certainly not a problem specific to Lenovo. The Graph border uncheck trick does not help. Video drivers are the latest version. Any other ideas?

I have the same problem with 3d-plot, mathcad v14M20 running on Windows XP-64 SP2. Even the help exapmles don't work, there is a strange error mathcad displays : "Value cannot be null. Parameter name: pUnk" Any idea ?

I have run MathCAD M035 on FX6800 i7 64x windows 7 system with Radeon 4850 which is a high end graphics card - as main stream, standard as you can get. 3D graphics fail at True Color 32x, but work at High Color 16x. Note that M035 came out before the October 22, 2009 Windows 7 GA, and Windows 7 Beta was out over a year ago. Its about time for PTC to get Mathcad fixed for Windows 7.

I have an fx6800 i7 system with Radeon 4850 graphics card, and an HP i3 laptop. Both use windows 7, 64x.
Changing the screen resolution from 32 bit true color to 16 bit high color fixed the problem on both machines.
