Redefines variables

As a new user of Mathcad, I'm still on the learning curve of this programme. A simple question occurred that some green lines appear under the redefined variables and how can I prevent these line being printed as it looks like an error on the print copy.

Many thanks for your great help.

From the Menu, Tools/Preferences. This will bring up the 'Preferences' dialog.

Choose the 'Warnings' tab. Clear the tick box 'Show warnings on redefinitions of:'

I think there is a request in to allow redefinition warnings to be turned off for printing ... yes, http://collab.mathsoft.com/read?57790,12 - (I don't know whether it's been implemented in M14).

Thank you, Stuart.

I have cleared the warnings and it looks better now. At the same time, I will keep my eyes on the link in your reply.

there is also a keyboard shortcut to toggle warnings - something like ctrl-w. It is somewhere in the manual/help, but don't expect to find in in the index 😞

Thanks Philip,

I tried ctrl w but it seemed to close the file straight away though.

Help (on Redefinition Warning) gives the shortcut as Ctl-Shft-R ... which seems to work.

Stuart

Thanks as it does work.
Meanwhile, I have posted another question regarding "Line/Object drawing". If you are familiar with it, please can you have a look at it.
Many thanks.
