Two branches of the curve^ one for Black^Blue and others for Blue^Black:
You demanded

and as it was quite easy to change the sheet with the constant sum to provide a constant product, so here it is.
And here is the (IMHO less interesting) animation showing the distances:

As already written I prefer the original avi files and not those streaming crap.
Hmm, the forum seems to dislike the word c*r*a*p !?

Use please one good Russian word "Scheiße".
Use please one good Russian word "Scheiße".
Russian?? Its German 😉
And I know why I dislike that streaming annoyance - most of the time I click on of those animations, I get this error:
I feel confirmed.

I do refresh!
And second.
This word (шайзе) now is a russian word too. Like бутерброд or фриштик or парикмахерская etc
> бутерброд or фриштик or парикмахерская
Google translate was not of much help here, but I guess I recognize "Butterbrot", Frühstück" and "Perückenmacher", right?

Right!
But парикмахерская is Friseurgeschäft
We say "ein Butterbrot mit wurst, mit butter, mit kaese" etc.

Mathematica has only 4 curves - see please Wolfram Demonstrations Project
Mathcad - seven!
There are so many other possibilities and ways to define that kind of curves, but there may be a sense and deeper reason why Wolfram is limiting itself to the four basic operations and is not using other functions like exp or ln.

But perhaps Wolfram does not have the great imagination as we have

Pouvons nous representer en Mathcad l'ensemble des Julia z --> carre(z) + 0,25 ?
Can we graph in Mathcad the set of Julia z---> z^2 +0.25 ?
Like in : Dimensions / episode 7, min 7:42 ?
Best regards, Liv.

Sure!
If you search the forum or the net you should find some nice examples how to create pictures of Julia- and Mandelbrot sets.
Here are just examples for 2 different approaches:
http://www.adeptscience.co.uk/products/mathsim/mathcad/fractals-in-mathcad.html (see at the end for a link to the Julia worksheet)

Maybe worth opening a new question/thread if you already tried and experienced difficulties.
Right ! Should have looked for !
Great hint & docs. I'll study them.
Not tried, yet. Much more trivial tasks in Mathcad for the moment.
Many thanks, Liv.
(thanks to Samir Khan 689, too, for that Mcd worksheet)
