Switching Mathcad to New Computer

Running Mathcad on Windows XP computer (Single User License). I have a backup CD from PTC. Can I install it on the W7 machine and make sure it runs before removing it from the XP machine? If not, what do I need to do?

I think you would be in breach of your licence conditions with two concurrent installations. But: Mathcad 14 M020 runs fine for me on Windows 7 64 bit. Peter S
