Given that Prime seems to be nearer to the early
Mathcad versions in capability, I thought I'd try
playing with the M11 quicksheets.
Attached is a version of elements of the
'Arithmetic and Algebra' quicksheets. I've
omitted some of the original quicksheets because
they are primarily programming or symbolic
demonstrations.
One non-functional feature I have left in, because
it should work, is column-operator on lhs of a
definition - without this capability, prime life
gets painful.
However, it does show that Prime can do
*something*

Couple of random observations:
1. Separate regions is a sine qua non given
Prime's poor import performance
2. 'Remove Space Below' has been implicated in
two Prime crashes (reported) and behaviour is
erratic (it sometimes doesn't do anything (esp if
nothing visible below) and on several occasions
has caused the worksheet to jump location (usually
to the top).
3. Sometimes the 'hand' cursor doesn't appear when
I've selected multiple regions, esp when two
regions overlap. On other occasions the hand
doesn't appear when hovering over a selected
region but when does when I'm below it.
4. Lack of 'points' on plots is a pain
5. Inability to import 2D plots is an even bigger
pain.
6. Line guide underneath the x-axis variable is a
waste of space (for the most part) and there
should be a user option to hide it.
7. I want my 'border' around region back
8. I want the 'view regions' capability back.
9. Lack of math in text is frustrating.
(Don't worry, it's not exhaustive 🙂 this is just
stuff I found annoying when creating the attached
worksheet)
