Community Tip - Did you get called away in the middle of writing a post? Don't worry you can find your unfinished post later in the Drafts section of your profile page. X
I'm finding that long threads are taking forever to load (e.g. there is a trending thread on units, which has a big history).
Are others finding this to be a problem, and is there a setting to make the thread show 'page at a time', preferably with a recent first option.

The only specificity that appears to exist is to click on the time in the "Last Activity" column on the Discussion page http://communities.ptc.com/community/mathcad?view=discussions or the "Last Post" column on the top Discussions page https://communities.ptc.com/threads/
So if you click on the "3 hours ago" above Richard's name you should go to http://communities.ptc.com/message/148127?tstart=0#148127 in the Eddy Current thread, which will put you on Richard's last posting

I do not see this problem using Firefox

Go to your profile, then "Edit Preferences" on the right. Change the Discussion View Style to flat.
The problem then is that you can't tell who replied to who unless they quoted the person they replied to. So you have to pick your poison!
