hello everyone,
i'm using prime 2.0
i want to exclude 2 of my 3 solutions which are non-real ...
I'm not really familiar with the Keywords and Modifiers,so i tried the "assume, var=real
which made everything only worse.....
i have searched a lot on google and elsewhere but couldnt find a solution for that problem....
maybe someone here can help...
thx in advance
Solved! Go to Solution.

but i cant see that work...
Variables in your formula (the solution of equation) must have numerical values!
And second.
Please send npt bmp but png or better mcdx files.
May be this is a help for you:
Hi Valery
your idea seemed really good, but unfortunately i'm using more than one variable and
Mathcad simply tells me that "undefinied"....
@ Westerman:
thx but i already tried that, which made everything only worse.....
May be so:
thx
what does "clear_sym(n_ein) " ? does ist unattache the unit?
is it possible to access the real-result, to make further calculations?

Ignoring the numerical value of the variable in the symbolic transformation. As x:=x in Mathcad 15.

Fronz or me or both?
Sorry, the symbolic math can not work with units.
there is only one unit in n_nein, which i considerer and tried with an undifinied variable wich hasnt any unit
attached....
but thx for that info!
