Diesel cycle (Carnot, Trinkler, Guelder-roses).
Hi Andrey.
You do an Otto cycle, Carnot is the same, but more easy: it's a rectangle in the T-S diagram. So, don't need the corrections that you're doing in the attached, and just equate s1=s2, T1=T2, s3=s2, T3=T4.
For the Trinkler cycle, analyze what can equate and what need to be transformed, but it's the same of the Otto, just with one more state point.
Remember that the work fluid for all those cycles for diesel is the air, for this is what you use those ideal values for Cp and Cv. The work done by the system and the energy released by the diesel are implicit in the problem data (T's and P's)
I don't know any Guelder - Roses cycle.
Best regards.
Alvaro.
Thanks for the help. I will try to make.
Do in the point 3 p3:=p2 (isobar) ) and v3:=R*T3/p3 for Diesel cycle!
Thanks
