interpolation in graphics

Good afternoon friends of the community, I am new to using Mathcad. I have a problem getting data from a general graph for an area smaller than the interior as shown in the graph. My version of Mathcad Prime is V.9.0

Thank you for your attention.

I don't speak Spanish and (like you) I am too lazy to fire up a translator.

But in case you are looking for interpolation as you had written in the thread subject, you could do it that way:

Its not clear to me what exactly you are looking for.

Are you just interested in the very same calculation but with different input values A and B?

If yes, you may consider turning the calculations into functions with arguments A and B.

Good morning, the problem I have is that the new values obtained with "a" and "b" are greater than the values found in the corners of the larger rectangle. What I want to do is obtain the values at the points considering the values of the large rectangle, because 104,467, 124,909, 81,603 and 102,046 tonneph/m are greater than the limits of the rectangle 18,323, 19,652, 22,335 and 21,005 tonneph/m.

If I remember correctly, the much-missed Mathcad Picture Operator allowed one to select a region of an image and return a vector(?) of the coordinates of the corners of the selection (and possibly the corresponding image data; my memory’s hazy on that bit)

That might have proved useful in cases such as this for approximating an area of interest.

If I further recall correctly, I used this information to update the Picture Operator. One could, as I mentioned recently, use the PO as a function and pass in image updates via an argument.

Given the number of worksheets that made use of its capabilities, I am surprised that the Picture Operator hasn’t made it further up the PTC priority list.

Not being able to automatically display/update a generated/processed image in Mathcad is frustrating beyond measure.

Stuart

Thank you very much dear Werner_E, that is indeed what I was trying to achieve. Abusing your kindness, and if my input data were in the form of a matrix as I show you below, what would be the procedure? Excuse my boldness, the truth is I am just starting to use Mathcad Prime.

Thank you for your attention
