root with 'n' non-integer: D=S^n?
To all,
A really stupid question but one I need to ask
I have the equation D=S^b where is a non-integer (ie a real). Mathcad does not have a function to return S if D and b are known?
Thanks
Regards
JXB

Thanks. I do know why put in my head that there was a pre-defined function!! Must have confused with something else. (Otherwise I can write S=D^(1/b)
