This keeps happening when I try putting in the license. (see picture)

Did you follow this instruction - "PTC Creo 8.0 - Schools Edition - Quick Installation Guide"?
please upload license file mentioned in installer window.
Also run following command from Command prompt window and upload ip.txt file
ipconfig /all > ip.txt
