How to get prepared for a training class?

A few months ago, I had already blogged about this topic. What is effective training preparation? In other words: What can you do to get the most out of your attendance?

The original blog post wasn’t commented on, but I had received a lot of positive feedback from customers and colleagues that this is an interesting topic and many people shared their views over the phone. So I thought I'd bring this up here again, now as we have our own Community for training topics!

I have only been using Mathcad for just over five years and the majority of what I have learnt have come from this forum.
