PTC Creo 7.0 Student Edition is exprining

My current instal of PTC states it is expiring in 4 days.  It appears it is a 30-day trial license versus the longer student license.  How do I avoid this shutdown in 4 days?

I have a sw_license_email_4969336.dat file in my university email.

Hi,

1.] If you uload sw_license_email_4969336.dat file, I will explain what is inside it.

2.] If you upload parametric.psf located in Parametric\bin sub-directory in Creo 7.0 installation, I can suggest how to modify it.

Thank you, but you may have to simplify your anwer a little more for me.  First I will upload the file here (I think that is what you want), but the second part I am unsure how to accomplish.  Let me take care of file upload so you can explain what is inside it. We can go to next steps soon there after.

Hi,

open File Explorer, browse to Creo installation directory and use Search field in File Explorer to find parametric.psf file.

The forum will no allow me to upload the .psf file.

Thanks, here you go.

Hi,

I can't see your license file, please upload it.

How about now?

Hi,

sw_license_email_4969336.dat contains same information as C:\ProgramData\PTC\Licensing\BC700901EDCREO7TRIALCD_license.dat ... so it is useless.

I am not sure if following procedure is the right one, just try it.

1.] move BC700901EDCREO7TRIALCD_license.dat from C:\ProgramData\PTC\Licensing directory into another directory

2.] move parametric.psf from Parametric\bin directory into another directory

3.] start reconfigure from Parametric\bin

4.] use one of following Product codes

K-12 students can use Product code BE700908EDSTUDENTEDK12
University students can use Product code BK700908EDSTUDENTEDUNI
