Hi Joe, As you mentioned the Student edition does not allow the use of Floating Options. Floating options are license options for functionality that can be enabled and disabled during a session of Pro/E. Many companies might have these option, but one for each user at their company. The floating option allows a user to use it for a period of time and then release it for someone else to use it. The reason the student edition does not allow floating options is that there are no floating options available for the student edition. Hope this helps. Regards, Mark
