Pro/ENGINEER Schools Edition Wildfire 5.0(M040)

I am attempting to install Pro/ENGINEER Schools Edition Wildfire 5.0(M040). The installer went all the way to the finish, however when I attempted to launch PTC.exe, the program folder shortcut did not work. I looked in the correct bin folder and PTC.exe was not present, although other program files were.

I attempted to reinstall, and the installer hangs at 2%.

Can someone offer some help with this?

Peter,

Your best bet is to delete your current install folder and reinstall using the full DVD. It can be downloaded from http://apps.ptc.com/schools/WF5_Schools_DVD.zip.

The web install has worked perfectly for some and others have experienced the same problems you are. If you use the full DVD, you won't see those problems.
