I have been told that the two are different versions. If I create a file in the Student Edition created at home (or wherever) will I be able to open that file with a seat of the University Edition at school?
I spoke to PTC Tech Support in India and they said "no way". Then I spoke to a reseller (who is looking into it with PTC) and they said they'd heard there was a work around. I hope that is the case as it would be VERY convenient. I'd much rather spring for the student edition and be able to do the home work at home than to be tied to a work center on campus.
Hi all, The Student Edition and the Unviersity Edition are compatible. You should have no problems opening a stduent edition file in the University Edition or vise versa. Thanks, Mark
