creo 3 Launches with a DLL error

On starting PTC Creo Parametric 3 we get an error message: Xtop.exe - System Error.  The program can't start because luapputilsmt.dll is missing from your computer

. Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem.

We have reinstalled the program but the problem persists.

    Hi,

    try to install Creo in different computer.

    Thanks for the suggestion, we have tried it on another computer with the same error.

    We used the same install package that we used over the summer holidays to install

    Creo 3 on 45 academic computers.

    David,

    on my Win7 64-bit PC I found 3 instances of this DLL file in CR3 M060 installation.

    D:\PTC\Creo3_M060\Creo\Platform\3.115\luapputilsmt.dll

    D:\PTC\Creo3_M060\Creo 3.0\M060\Common Files\x86e_win64\lib\luapputilsmt.dll

    D:\PTC\Creo3_M060\Creo 3.0\M060\Common Files\x86e_win64\obj32\luapputilsmt.dll

    Check the situation on your PC.
