Creo 4.0 Not Utilizing all RAM during Lattice Generation

Hey,

Specs Below. I'm working on Generating a Lattice (simplified ref) and my computer is struggling. I only seem to be using 6% of my CPU, only 5 GB of RAM and none of my GPU.

Is there anyway to get Creo to access more of what's available?

Thanks.

Win 10 64-Bit

32 Gb Ram

3.6 GHz Intel Xeon

Nvidia Quadro M2000

How many cores do you have?

Is Hyper-Threading enabled?

4 Cores.

How do I check that is enabled?

Task Manager Performance tab and select CPU

On the bottom right, it will say Cores: 4 and Logical Processors: 8, if hyper-threading is enabled.

Since Creo is single threaded, the highest CPU usage would be 12.5%.

Yep,

Cores 4, Logical Processors 8.

I guess it only uses the processor for generating Full Geometry Lattices?

Or is there some other way I could get this to generate?

What would a computer need to be highly capable with lattices?

I guess I should contact PTC and see what they say.

Thanks.

Hi,

YES, contact PTC Support and ask them.
