Some of my students are trying to install Creo Elements/Pro 5.0 Student Edition on their own laptop but they have trouble:
1) they used (with ProE Wf4) to generate the licence directly from the program setup. This is not possible anymore due to the fact with use a proxy in the university... Is there a solution to avoid this problem?
2) I recommended them to generate the licence from the ptc web site. But they do not know what the "product code": if we browse the page "http://www.ptc.com/go/licence4student", the product code is missing, which is not the case if we click on the link "http://www.ptc.com/go/licence4student" directly from the program setup. I analysed the "real url" and I assume the product code is ptcschools5 but this is not so easy to find?!?
Is there a simpler manner of doing?
